French Bone prisoner of war snuff box

This snuff box dates 1840 made from animal bone most likely bovine.

The work depicting battle dress and possibly regiment and the date code letters on either end of the box

This is prisoner of war work with fine inscribing. 

NOTE DAMAGE ON HINGE SIDE.
